Abstract

The Council on Foods and Nutrition will sponsor fellowships for research in clinical nutrition in 1967. The grants will be given in honor of Dr. William A. Castle, recipient of the 1966 Joseph Goldberger Award in Clinical Nutrition. <h3>Purpose.—</h3> The purpose of these fellowships is to stimulate staff members and medical students to take a more active interest in the science of nutrition. <h3>Amount.—</h3> The amount of money available is $250 per month for 3 months. <h3>Conditions.—</h3> Fellowships will be granted under the following conditions: (1) The grant shall be made to a medical student on recommendation of a senior investigator or major professor. (2) A medical student, receiving a grant one year, may re-apply for a second grant. (3) The recipient will be selected by the Council on Foods and Nutrition.
