Abstract
One of the effective means to realize equipment fault diagnosis and early warning is analyzing power equipment vibration signals by positioning the audible sound signal. The existing algorithm such as the summation beamforming algorithm suffers to a low anti interference ability, while the Multiple Signal Classification (MUSIC) algorithm has a high positioning accuracy but a high computation complexity. Therefore, A joint acoustic source localization algorithm based on the above two algorithms is proposed in this paper, which can realize accurate localization of acoustic source and improve operation speed. Specifically, the algorithm makes a preliminary estimation of the direction of the acoustic wave source through the summation algorithm, to determine the search range of the MUSIC algorithm, thus greatly reducing the search space of the spatial spectrum peak. Furthermore, an acoustic detection platform is built for the experimental verification of the algorithm. The results show that the proposed algorithm can accurately locate the acoustic wave source generated by the equipment of substations with an appropriate computation time, which improves the feasibility of practical application for acoustic monitoring of power equipment in substations.
