Abstract
The largest seawater reverse osmosis desalination plant in the World has been constructed and commissioning at Jeddah in Saudi Arabia and has been successfully operating since April, 1989. This paper outlines the main design features, construction and operation of the 15 MGD (56,800 m 3 per day) seawater reverse osmosis plant.
