Abstract
Jean V. Marani, teacher and curriculum director at Riverview High School, Sara sota, Florida, received her bachelor of arts degree from Florida State University, her master of arts from Peabody College for Teachers, and her Ph.D. from The Ohio State University. In 1962, she was selected by the U.S. Office of Education, Look maga zine, and the Council of Chief State School Officers as one of the ten finalists in the "Teacher of the Year" project.
