Abstract

Theoretical consideration of the Jahn-Teller polarons (JTP) and of the characteristic IR absorption by JTP in LaMnO3 (LMO) and La1-xSrxMnO3(LSMO) perovskites which can be the basis of systems with colossal magnetoresistance, is performed. New theoretical model of cooperative Jahn-Teller effect in the vicinity of the hole polaron is developed. The appearance of the multi-peak structure and polaron superstructure effect in IR-absorption on this basis is predicted.
