Abstract

It is needed to maintain their superiority over the previous products in case that new product or new feature is developed and designed. As various design alternative are compared in the products development and design process whether they satisfy the design requirement and design specification, it is important to know quantitative degree of improvement from a current or initial design to a design target This paper shows a method to evaluate the design alternatives in consideration of the improvement factor of the Pareto-optimal solutions along the design improvement vector and their feasibility, because evaluation of the design alternatives is regarded as the problem to compare among the Pareto-optimal solutions in the objective function space.
