Abstract

Abstract This paper discusses the novel public relations and outreach efforts utilized by Milner Library, Illinois State University, which are aimed at dispelling the stereotypes of librarians found in popular culture, as well as attempting to make students-especially undergraduates-more aware of library services and more comfortable in their interactions with the public service librarians.
