Abstract

Our study investigated the three‐dimensional morphology of the human spleen during the early fetal period. The 3D models of the spleen (yellow arrows) and the surrounding organs were created using fetal MRI (A, B). Spleen morphology was classified into six types based on the number and features of splenic surfaces, indicating that the number of surfaces increased as crown‐rump length (CRL) enlarged (C).
