Abstract

ABSTRACT Dwarf and large genes for clove plants have been located within clove germplasm selections collected by the Indian Institute for Spices Research. The dwarf gene should enable the development of clove production systems that will accommodate more trees per unit land area and facilitate tree maintenance and harvest.
