Abstract

The properties of aluminum alloys pre-stretched thick plate and extruding strip of integrally stiffened panel of the wings were studied. The compression properties and fatigue limit were measured on a set of samples of plate, strip and section of aluminum alloys. The microstructures of the aluminum alloys were examined in optical microscopy and electronic microscopy TEM separately. The tests indicated that the grains elongated and impurity phases precipitated along the extruding direction. Results showed that pre-streched deformed aluminum alloys are anisotropic and there is an extrusion effect in the extruding aluminum alloys. The isotropism of compression yield strength in the deformed aluminum alloy was observed and discussed.
