Abstract
Isoperla major is described from the adult male, adult female, mature nymph, and egg. The major diagnostic features of this new taxon include: large body size of adult, color pattern of adult and nymph, aedeagus, hammer, female subgenital plate, vagina, egg collar, and egg chorion sculpturing. The new species' habitat is described.
