Abstract

The nuclei far from stability have been investigated on the synchrocyclotron beam in the Laboratory of Nuclear Problems about 30 years. The investigations have been developing from the first off‐line works (1956), which showed that 660 MeV protons were effective for production of neutron‐deficient nuclides, through the semi‐on‐line system YASNAPP‐1, and to the recently‐built ISOL facility YASNAPP‐2. The facility and the spectrometric devices prepared for it are described.
