Abstract
ABSTRACTRespiratory and conjunctival secretions were collected from fifty‐nine cats living in a rural environment and 128 cats living in an urban environment. All cats were showing some signs of respiratory disease. Feline caliciviruses or feline rhinotracheitis viruses were isolated from 16% and 56% of the cats from the urban and rural areas respectively. The caliciviruses were serologically related.
