Abstract
Abstract Defect-induced deviations of the local order parameter (LOP) are calculated for an order-disorder ferroelectric, with n. n. and dipolar interactions, described by a rigid pseudo-spin model. Pseudo-spin deviations near the defect are given as well as asymptotic expansions. The temperature dependence is discussed. Results obtained by different methods are compared.
