Medial patellofemoral ligament(MPFL) injuries are common with recurrent lateral patellar instability (LPI), but there is no consensus on the ideal technique for surgical management. The objective of this study was to comparatively evaluate the clinical outcomes and rates of recurrent instability in young patients with isolated MPFL repair or imbrication vs reconstruction.
