Abstract
Isolaimium hamatispiculatum n. sp. is described from the United States (Tennessee). It is differentiated from all other species of Isolaimium by combinations of the following characteristics: length 3.7-4.9 mm, longitudinal striae present only in the lateral quadrants, one or no pre-anal ventral papillae in the male, spicules usually falcate, spicule tip expanded into a hook-like process.
