The article discusses research on solutions that come to mind suddenly. The author reflects on a study by psychologists John Kounios and Carola Salvi that explored analytical problem solving and insight in college students solving brain teasers. Other topics include the accuracy of insight, neurological processing, and finding answers to puzzles.
