Abstract
We investigate the dynamical evolution of a 7-dimensional Kaluza-Klein space-time which oscillates anisotropically. Our model has the spatial manifold of a direct product of a fiat three space and a group manifold of 50(3). Using the Hamiltonian formalism and numerical computations for this dynamical system, we show that the chaotic behavior of the scale factors cannot occur unless the fiat three space is static.
