Abstract

In connection with the analysis of heat conduction by means of entropy minimal principle, we i) examined the essence of irreversible entropy using a differential form, and derived an equation of heat conduction from it, ii) obtained a kind of canonical equations of heat conduction from a new Hamiltonian density which we could define from Laplace transformation of the entropy, and proposed a new method for the analysis of heat conduction, and; iii) discussed the variational problem of heat conduction when the limit of variation was movable. Through these studies, we make clear the irreversible thermodynamics structure of heat conduction.
