Abstract

The article examines the activities of the President of Argentina Yrigoyen, who stood at the origins of the development of the ideology of non-alignment, shows the conformity of his foreign policy - neutrality during the First World War, plans to convene a congress of Latin American countries, the transformation of the League of Nations into a universal international organization based on freedom, equality and sovereignty of all countries of the world, the establishment of a new international economic order - to the goals and principles of the Non-Aligned Movement.
