Abstract

The paper main aim is to design a prototype Weather Monitoring System based on the Internet of Things (IoT) using Raspberry Pi 3B+ BCM 2837 board. The Internet of Things (IoT) plays a vital role in having the network distributed with huge smart devices that communicate with end users. As discussed in this paper, weather monitoring model or system has been developed to collect data and display weather parameters such as warmth, humidity and atmospheric pressure using appropriate sensors of temperature, humidity and pressure. Environmental information is gathered and processed from the diverse sensors. Recorded information is stored in the Raspberry pi 3B+ board SD card and the user can find out the data saved by the system as per the request at any time. Using Google Developer mail service Console with Application user Interface (API) accurate information is stored for further use in online Google spread sheets with accurate time and date which is shared with a particular client mail services.
