Abstract

Nowadays in agriculture sector, farmers major problems are related to irrigation. Crops can be destroyed by over- and under-irrigation. This project involves the creation of a smart irrigation system that is connected to the internet of things. An IoT platform built on BLYNK and ESP8266 is established in this paper. which aid user in controlling irrigation at any moment using smartphone, tracking moisture content parameters, reducing his actions, and optimising water utilization. The transducer data has been sent to the IoT platform which user can monitor easily.
