Abstract

The metal-organic framework (MOF) has been deposited on metal oxide surface layer-by-layer. The synthesis of MOF-inorganic oxide composite has been optimized. The optimized MOF-oxide composite has been used in a photoelectrochemical cell for solar water splitting. The composite shows much higher photocurrent density than the metal oxide alone.
