Abstract
Subject. This article discusses the issues of development of infrastructure of all types and the implementation of targeted investment projects. Objectives. The article aims to analyze the importance of investments in the development of regional infrastructure, using the construction industry as a case study. Methods. For the study, we used a statistical analysis. Results. Based on structural-and-dynamic and factor analyses of investments in the construction industry, the article presents various scenarios for the development of the construction industry. Conclusions. Sustainable development of the economy is impossible without capital accumulation and investment in infrastructure projects.
