Abstract
In the present work, the nanowear test is carried out at 5500 µN load with a large pitch distance of 20 µm and 3500 µN load with a low pitch distance of 3 µm on Laser Powder Bed Fusion (LPBF) produced CuCrZr alloy. The volume of material removal and normal wear depth at a low pitch value were studied. Further, the deformation of nano twins along the sliding direction was discussed. Coefficient of friction and depth of wear track at a low pitch value were studied. In addition to that the ratio of H/Er and H3/Er2 are studied and not suitable to measure the wear resistance of LPBF CuCrZr material at low pitch values.
