Abstract

AbstractThe absorption caused by a gradual conversion of a Z1 band during a linear heating into an F and Z2 band is obtained and analysed by fitting of rate equations. The results show that the decay proceeds in at least two phases. First F centers are formed and these seem to form with remaining Z1 centers Z2 centers then. Finally, at higher temperatures, the Z2 centers decay into F centers.
