Abstract

At high speeds and under large axial forces, the disc–drum combined structure exhibits inconsistent deformation between parts. The difference in the structural characteristics of different parts, the speed, the preload, and its distribution mode, along with other factors, make the deformation of parts more complex, resulting in the deformation of parts during work; this deformation inconsistency has a direct impact on the engine performance. This paper presents a systemic investigation of the uncoordinated bolt deformation of an aeroengine. The finite element model of the disc–drum combined structure is established using Ansys workbench, where the deformation is uncoordinated. On this basis, the influence of different preload forces and various rotation speeds on the deformation discordance of the combined structure are discussed. Then, the relationship between the bolt deformation and component deformation incompatibility is obtained through a comprehensive analysis of the bolt deformation. A set of detailed analyses was carried out to investigate the uncoordinated deformation caused by the uneven distribution of the preload force.
