Abstract

In this paper, we studied the parameters of the lubrication system of a truck, depending on the operating temperature of the oil. A one-dimensional model of the lubrication system of a truck engine is constructed, taking into account the dynamic loads acting on the crank mechanism during its operation in accordance with the indicator diagram. The model has been verified using experimental data obtained at the Research and Development Center of KAMAZ PJSC. After that, numerical studies of the parameters of the lubrication system at various operating oil temperatures were carried out. The dependences of pressure and oil consumption in the lubrication system of a truck are revealed. Keywords: lubrication system, oil viscosity, modeling, lubrication layer thickness
