Abstract

The current efficiency and the morphology of palladium deposits produced from an acid electrolyte on a rotating hemispherical electrode were investigated using direct current, pulse current and pulse reverse current. Crack-free deposits were obtained in the case of pulse reverse current only. The current efficiency for palladium deposition was found to decrease with increasing ratio of anodic to cathodic charge.
