Abstract
The vibration of the iron core of the power transformer is mainly caused by the combined action of the magnetostriction of the silicon steel sheets and the additional electromagnetic force between the iron core sheets and the joints. It is of great significance to carry out research on the vibration characteristics of transformer cores to improve the reliability of transformer operation. In this paper, the vibration test of the three-phase three-column transformer core is firstly conducted to explore its natural vibration characteristics. Secondly, the finite element simulation model is established and the Young's modulus is corrected by Euler Bernoulli equation. Finally, the vibration characteristics of the three-phase three-column transformer core are experimentally studied to obtain the vibration distribution law on the surface of the core.
