Abstract

Objective To investigate the cognition about transmission routes in hepatitis B and their healthy behaviors in family members of ASC, in order to provide scientific basis in intervention. Methods 392 family members of ASC in Zaozhuang city were investigated by self designed questionnaire. Results The family members 's knowledge about transmission routes in hepatitis B were inadequated, and also lack of the knowledge and skill of correct isolation and prevention. There was significant differences in knowledge cognition and healthy behaviors among dwelling Flace, educational level, occupation, see the doctor or not in the group (P <0.01 or < 0.05) . Conclusions Implementing effective health education to ASC and their family members inside and outside hospital could enfonce the government instruction, provide proper protective article, so as to enhance the high risk group's comprehensive capacity in preventing Hepatitis B.
