Investigation of surgical repair for defect after eyelid malignant tumor surgery

Abstract

Objective To investigate the surgical repair for the eyelid defects after eyelid malignant tumor surgery. Methods Eyelid malignant tumor of 32 cases were excised according to the Mohs surgery. Different skin flaps were used to repair the defects according to the area and size of the defects. Results No necrosis happened in all cases. After the operation the eyelid had good shape. Conclusion The eyelid malignant tumor can be excised according to the Mohs surgery. It can be repaired primarily. The eyelid can achieve the structural and functional restoration well.
