Abstract
ABSTRACT The pile-anchor structure has been widely studied by global researchers. However, there is still little research on seismic optimization measures considering energy dissipation. In this research, the seismic performance of the pile-anchor structure is optimized by setting viscous dampers on the anchor cables. Shaking table tests are conducted to compare the seismic response of this new structure with that of the ordinary structure. Meanwhile, an analysis of the seismic energy dissipation law under the support of both structures was conducted. Those results show that the seismic performance of the pile-anchor structure can be greatly improved by setting dampers.
