Summary

Introduction

At present continuous methods of manufacture of metallurgical products are prevalent. This methods make it possible considerably improving of productivity and reducing of number of technological operations [1, 2]. The rolled wire of oxygen-containing copper is produced by combined method of casting and rolling Contirod method. The cast copper bar of rectangular cross section with dimensions of 120x70 mm is fed in 14-mill rolling mill for production of copper rolled wire with diameter of 8 mm. The quality of copper rolled wire depends largely on the quality of continuous cast bar.
