Abstract
AbstractIn this work, we calculated the toroidal magnetic field decay rates and magnetic energy decay rates by considering the general relativity effect of AXP 1E2259 + 586 associated with the supernova remnant CTB 109. The results confirmed that the high thermal radiation on the surface of the star could be attributed to Joule heating caused by the dissipation of crustal magnetic field. We also investigated the effects of ultrastrong magnetic fields on magnetization parameter and thermal conductivity in the crust.
