Abstract
Excitation spectra of KLi molecule were investigated in the spectral range 31,000–33,100cm−1 by polarisation labelling spectroscopy technique. Three hitherto unknown electronic states of 1Π symmetry were observed. The Dunham coefficients and potential curves characterising the states were deduced from the spectra. Basing on theoretical calculations, the states were identified as 91Π, 101Π and 111Π.
