Investigation of H-H (D-D) AND H (D)-N Interactions in Nb and Ta by means of Computer Simulation of Diffusion

Abstract

The interaction of solute atoms in metals has been the subject of numerous experimental studies because such information is indispensable for understanding many basic physical processes such as short-range order, segregation, ordering, diffusion, etc. The interaction energies are necessary for calculations of phase equilibria and phase diagrams,and mechanical and physical properties of solid solutions.
