Abstract

Currently, there is a great effort to use environmentally friendly materials in structures and to reduce the carbon footprint. One of the possibilities when dealing with concrete is to reuse materials or use waste as a secondary material. This research deals with the possibility of partial replacement of cement in concrete by ecological fluidized bed combustion-based ternary binder Sorfix. The main reason for replacing cement is its ecologically demanding production. The properties of the new mixture were compared with conventional concrete of similar composition without the use of Sorfix. The cohesion of both mixtures with UHPC was tested. The material characteristics of all three mixtures were also verified.
