Abstract

A nuclear interaction of 3.1014 eV (the total energy of the secondary particles is 8.8–1013eV) was studied in an emulsion chamber. 65 charged particles and 34 cores of electro-magnetic cascades from π0-mesons were observed. The angular distribution of the secondary particles is fairly isotropic. The value of |cos θ *|av obtained is 0.66±0.01 and angular anisotropy m obtained is about 2. Production ratio of the π0-mesons to the charged particles and that of the X± particles to the charged particles obtained were 0.33±0.06, and 0.34±0.12, respectively. Integral energy spectrum of the π0-mesons in the laboratory system obtained has an exponent — 2.0. ThePt distribution of the π0 -mesons is continuous up to 2 GeV/c. Furthermore, a high value ((2.9 −1.5 +2.9 ) GeV/c) ofPt of single γ-ray was found. The average value ofPt of π0-mesons obtained is (0.49±0.08) GeV/c. ThePt distribution was better fitted with Heisenberg’s distribution. Inelasticity in the interaction estimated is 0.25.
