Abstract

The article presents the results of a study of semi-cycle discontinuous characteristics of materials systems for adaptive clothing of people with motor disabilities. The expediency of experimental evaluation of these indicators for a modern range of fabrics for clothing of this target audience is shown. The analysis of the results showed that the value of the discontinuous characteristics depends on the structural characteris- tics and the fibrous composition of the material systems and varies over a wide range. The change in the in- dicators of semi-cycle discontinuous characteristics of multilayer systems of materials in comparison with single systems is revealed. The effect of multicycle stretching on the strength of the materials under study has been established. The obtained mathematical dependences make it possible to predict the change in the breaking load during cyclic deformation, simulating the operating conditions of these materials. The results of experimental studies can be applied at the design stage of adaptive clothing
