Abstract
In this study, 293 preschool teachers in Jiangsu Province were selected as subjects, and the status of their professional identity, job engagement and the relationship between the two were investigated by questionnaire measurement. The results showed that the professional identity level (M=4.46) and job engagement level (M=4.15) of preschool teachers in Jiangsu Province were higher. There were no significant differences in professional identity and job engagement among different genders, age groups, and teaching years. The professional identity of preschool teachers in Jiangsu Province has a positive predictive effect on work engagement.
