Abstract

Line loss is an important characteristic parameter of operation reliability and economy of distribution network and a key index of smart grid management and customer-side lean operation of power supply enterprises. However, line loss is affected by multiple influence factors, and there is no mature method to analyze the abnormal line loss quickly and then analyze and locate the fault, which objectively leads to the limited power supply reliability and long abnormal maintenance time of distribution network. This paper presents an investigating method and managing strategy of abnormal line loss in distribution network based on load characteristics, which is able to realize reason analysis and location judge of abnormal line loss with methods like hierarchical diversion and correlation analysis. The method and strategy had been proved to be able to improve working efficiency and quality, save manpower and material resources.
