Abstract

Myocardial infarction (MI) is the number one leading cause of death in Malaysia and percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) has been shown to reduce mortality compared to fibrinolysis therapy. Understanding the different demographic and clinical characteristics of MI patients receiving PCI might help improve outcomes, however, these reports have not been published.
