Abstract
The dissertation presents unauthorized changes made by editors in the texts of deceased authors. It concerns the works by Stanislaw Morawski (1802–1853) published in three volumes in the years 1924, 1927 and 1929, which were misshaped by publishers’ interferences, four autobiographical texts by Eliza Orzeszkowa reprinted with unauthorized editorial interferences in the collection entitled Eliza Orzeszkowa on herself in 1974, and the edition of letters by Zygmunt Krasinski to Delfina Potocka in the series entitled Correspondence by Zygmunt Krasinski in Panstwowy Instytut Wydawniczy from 1975.
