Russian Abstract: Данный текст является введением в книгу Стратегия долгосрочного процветания: в поисках растаявшего ориентира. Стратегия… является продолжением и дополнением работы Институциональные ограничения современного экономического роста, впервые вышедшей в 2011 году в издательстве Дело . Книга продолжает попытки авторов собрать примеры наилучших законов и практик для решения экономических, политических и моральных проблем, связанных с возрождением Большого государства и все менее жестко ограниченного в полномочиях правительства в старых демократиях и в остальном мире. Особое внимание уделяется возможностям общества снова взять на себя выполнение функций образования, здравоохранения, помощи бедным (поставки смешанных общественных благ). Отдельно рассматриваются политические препятствия на пути предлагаемых реформ и меры на переходный период. English Abstract: paper contains introductory notes and structure review of the book The Strategy of lasting prosperity: in search for the lost constellation. strategy… continues and develops arguments of the book Institutional Constraints on Modern Economic Growth first published by “Delo” Publishing House, Moscow in 2011. We've described consequences (economic, political and moral) of rising Nanny State and not so government in the Old Democracies and in the rest of the World. new book contains collection of the best rules, laws and practices recommended to overcome consequences of governmental expansion. We pay special attention on the ways to restoration of civil society capacity to provide mixed public goods (provision of education, healthcare, assistance for the needy people). We tried to trace the course of actions for transitional period and to explore the ways to keep the windows of opportunity open long enough, to sustain the coalition for small, limited government and for free economy.
