From 1975 to 1978 he held senior positions, including director; with the Fine Arts Council. From 1978 to 1984 he was both jiicuhy and administrator at the State University of New York at Binghomton, where he directed the MBA/Arts Program and Center for the Arts. From 1984 to 1998 he served as a dean twice and as a provost at three major public universities. Margaret “Molly” Gholson is on accomplished musician who is currently enrolled in Illinois State University's MBA program truck in arts administration.
