Introduction

Abstract

This article highlights the speakers and their topics presented at the Libraries eResource & Emerging Technologies Summit (LEETS) (formerly known as the MidSouth eResource Symposium) held at Mississippi State University (MSU) Libraries on August 2, 2013. The Summit was co-sponsored by EBSCO Information Services, the North American Serials Interest Group (NASIG) Continuing Education Committee, and MSU Libraries. The costs of electronic resources continue to increase, and the management, marketing, troubleshooting, access, and discoverability of these important resources continues to be a challenge for libraries and librarians. This year’s presentations provided attendees with new ideas and successful solutions to the challenges of managing electronic resources.
