Abstract

Ayurveda is the Indian health science rather than a mere therapeutic science. Ayurveda has its own philosophical point of view. The philosophy coined for Ayurveda is unique. Ayurveda has both mundane and spiritual plane in explaining its basic principles. The concept of mutual relation between the macrocosm and microcosm as per Ayurveda with special reference to Caraka Samhita is a valid scientific data pool.
