Abstract Coleridge’s reputation as a writer rests on The Rime of the Ancient Mariner, Kubla Khan, Christabel, four meditative lyrics mostly in blank verse that have come to be known as his Conversation poems (The Eolian Harp, This Lime-Tree Bower My Prison, Frost at Midnight, and Dejection: An Ode),and a handful of richly suggestive and influential passages--chiefly about the nature of poetry, organic unity, and the creative imagination-from his most enduring work in prose, Bio graphia Literaria.
