Abstract

A diagnostic approach for the introduction of management information systems in medium-sized construction firms is proposed, through a selection of measures that take account of the characteristics of the change, the organization, its staff, resources and environment. Factors that should be considered in setting the pace of introduction are also presented. A case study demonstrates the employment of the proposed method.
